Stephen Ministry is a one-on-one relationship with those who are hurting.
- Is life more than you can handle right now?
- Is your health, attitude, or a relationship suffering?
- Are you adjusting to a new job or job loss, change in marital status, serious illness, death of a loved one, or a recent move?
- Do you need someone in your life who really cares?
Everyone goes through difficult times. Having someone to care, listen, and share God’s love with you can help you get through the confusion, stress or loneliness.
What is a Stephen Minister?
A Stephen Minister is…
- A child of God who walks beside a hurting person.
- A person who listens, prays and encourages.
- A lay person who has received exensive training in Christian caring.
The Stephen Ministry referral process is done in total confidence. If you would like a Stephen Ministry referral, please contact Ken Ansley at 417-673-3945 ext. 117.
If you would like to become a Stephen Minister, training begins Sunday, September 11 at 9:45 am.
