Description of Ministry:

Nationals know best the needs of isolated people groups.  For nearly forty years, national missionaries have been effectively evangelizing people groups through strategies and resources developed by Good News Productions, International.  As the only ministry-equipping network of its kind, Good News Productions, International produces three kinds of video media for the growing church – Evangelistic media, Discipleship series and Leadership-training materials.

Accelerating evangelism requires a variety of media and strategies in each culture’s “heart language” through television, radio, music, video, audio books, filmstrips and dramas.  The key is that national missionaries determine the most appropriate tools according to the needs of their culture.  The story is told!  The world is touched!  The church grows!

In lands isolated by political, economic, social, and religious oppression, culturally relevant media is a powerful and compelling rarity.  Mission dollars reach farther in a media void, and the Gospel spreads rapidly as people groups – hungry for the truth of the Word – come to a right understanding of the Gospel.  The Gospel message reaches them through your provision of media in the missionary’s hands to help tell the story – growth is accelerated, global evangelism spreads.

GNPI has Regional Centers in Chandigarh India, Chenai India, Chiang Mai Thailand, Damoh India, Manila Philippines, Mbale Uganda, Nairobi Kenya, Piedras Negras Mexico, Simferopol Ukraine, Southeast Asia and Joplin, Missouri.

Ministry Update:

We would like to extend to you a special word of thanks for helping us celebrate 35 years of successful ministry at GNPI.  The last 35 years would not have been possible without the vision & pioneering leadership of Ziden Nutt, faithful supporters like you & an incredible amount of hard work that has taken place around the world through the network of regional centers, missionaries, & nationals.

As GNPI has constantly been on the move in spreading the Gospel for the past 35 years, we are poised to move into the future continuing the vision which is: To fill the earth with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea: Good News Productions, International will partner with His Church to accelerate global evangelism.(Habakkuk 2:14)

The Board of Directors has worked hard to keep the focus all the while moving ahead to accomplish the task of world evangelism.  At the last meeting of the Board, it was unanimously decided to ask Mike Schrage to accept the position of Executive Director & help lead the ministry into the future.  After establishing & serving at the regional center in Nairobi, Kenya for 10 years, & more recently working as Director of Development, the Board feels that Mike is well suited to offer good direction & leadership as the ministry moves forward.  Tom Nutt, Director of Operations, & Bob Sartoris, International Director, will continue in their roles, & together we can all look forward to accelerated impact as the ministry continues to expand & cover the earth.
