Missions – Kristsana Udomsrirat

Kritsana Udomsrirat – Asian Christian Women & Children – Thailand

Description of Ministry:

Many of you have loved and supported Kritsana’s ministry in Northern Thaniland since she returned there in 1990. For the sake of those new to this ministry we wanted to give the following review: Kritsana lives in the village of MaeHongSon (MHS). Her ministry there is providing God’s message, a home, and education for children, who have little hope for a bright future. (The kids named the house and grounds ‘Eden’). Many of these children come from the mountain village of MaeAw, where Kritsana started and oversees a Chinese school for over 100 refugee children (through the 6th grade). In May, 2011 a new church outreach for adults began in MaeAw. Naisoi, a village about 30 miles from MHS is another area of ministry. About 5 years ago Kritsana shared the Good News with 2 sisters from the village. The church at NaiSoi is a testimony of the power of God! Kritsana continues to spread the Good News wherever God leads.

Update of Ministry:

The rain season has finally ended. The weather is getting cooler. Last week I was up at Mea-aw and had to put on big blanket at night. I do love winter here. It feels like spring in the States.

In October 25th the new semester for Thai school has started. All our Eden kids were back after 2 weeks school break. They all looked darker for help picking up tea leaves for their families. On the 27th I was back in Chiangmai for my dad’s 88th birthday. My oldest sister couldn’t come because she is still not fully recovered from the accident. My youngest sister also can’t come because all the plane tickets were sold out due to the worst flood in Bangkok. It might last for a month or two. Thousands and thousands of houses are under water. People have to leave their homes and move to the shelters or buildings provided by the government. Lots people lost their jobs because the factories are also in water. My sister’s house and my son Nat’s place are still on dry ground but they too have moved everything up stairs. Bangkok is located on lower ground and is closed to the sea. The population is about 16 millions and lots of buildings but don’t have enough waterways. All the rain water flow from the north passed middle part and ended up in Bangkok. Please continue to pray for Thailand.

Although three of my sisters couldn’t come to my dad’s birthday, we still had a good time with my dad and my sister in law has cooked a delicious meal for us to enjoy. Thanks for always keep my dad in your prayer.

On Oct. 29th we were at Jopake Church. It was a wonderful gathering and thanks giving day for us and everyone had a great time. I have told them about taking the Tuttle mission team to visit on Dec. 28th-29th. They decided they would celebrate Christmas on Dec. 29th morning, so we can celebrate with them.

November is here. We are getting busy with preparing for our coming revival meeting in Nov. 25th-27th . This year we decided to have a Christian concert at NS church on the evening of Nov. 25th . NS brothers and sisters are going to prepare the meal for everyone. They would do everything to bring NS people to the Lord. We are going to butcher one of our 2 pigs ( one save for Christmas) for the feast that evening and the rest of the meat would be enough for the following 2 days. During the concert our guest speaker (President of Payao Bibble College) would preach the Good News. Praise the Lord! The church of NS keeps growing. Lately, a quite wealthy middle age man of NS, who’s legs were swollen, and he was in great pain for sometimes. He has tried medication and also went to the witch doctor but getting worse. About 2 weeks ago, one of our NS church brothers went to visit, share the Lord with him and pray for him. Next day he was so excited because the pain on his legs was gone and also the swollen has disappeared. He knew that the Lord Jesus has healed him and he was so thankful. On the following Sunday, everyone was surprised to see him coming to church to give thanks to the Lord. He has been coming to worship with us for 2 Sundays. Please pray for his salvation. On Nov. 26th-27th , we would have our revival meeting and Sunday worship service in Eden. Some of our Jopaka and Chiangmai brothers and sisters are planning to come. It’s a long way for them. Please pray for all our preparations and for their safe traveling. May our precious Lord Christ Jesus continue to use us and strengthen us in every way as we serve Him together in Love and in Spirit.
