Missions – Rodney and Linda Peterson – Team Expansion – Louisville,KY

Ministry Description:

Rodney and Linda Peterson were missionaries in Mexico for 28 years before moving to Louisville, KY where they are using their experience and giftings working with this organization – Team Expansion. Team Expansion’s goal is to “ Transform communities among the unreached (where 5% or less are evangelical Christians) by planting churches”.

Rodney works in the training department – screening and equipping missionary candidates. He is also a head facilitator for the Kairos course in both English and Spanish. His other responsibilities include overseeing the inner-city Cincinnati team and a new outreach to the Huichol indigenous people in NW Mexico.

Linda is the Application Processor at Team expansion so has some of the first contact with those interested in serving the Lord in Missions work. She is involved in the screening of all prospective missionaries. She also teaches and helps missionary candidates develop their field budgets.

Both Rodney and Linda have a heart for mentoring, caring for and encouraging missionary candidates. They also minister on the field through encouragement and marriage enrichment seminars to both nationals and missionaries.
